ABOUT
US

VEDI is unique because it provides a multi-prong approach that addresses the underserved entrepreneurial needs of Veteran Owned and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses.

VEDI's a la carte service offerings through program partners including Top Flight LLC and Healthcare & Energy Solutions Inc encompasses the missing links for VOBs/SDVOBs - actual contract opportunities following completion of VA programs; advocacy supports on the federal, state and local levels for both private and public sector resources; strategic alliance opportunities and specialized training supports that are tied to existing assignments.

THE FACTS

  • Current veteran business programs provide a listing service with no guarantee of work or connections, general information that incorporates all business classifications and nebulous workshops that are most often inaccessible for the VOB/SDVOB owner who is the sole proprietor.

  • According to the U.S. Census Bureau over 80 percent of  Veteran Owned Businesses are non-employer businesses, meaning there is one paid employee - the owner. VEDI's primary goal is to reduce that percentage and increase the "hire factor" among VOBs/SDVOBs.

  • VEDI's program partners represent corporate executives, Veteran entrepreneurs, minority and women entrepreneurs, development consultants, community advocates, government agency officials, veterans services advocates, health professionals and business trainers.

  • All VEDI program partners and organizational supporters have a vested interest in meeting the business development and expansion needs of VOBs/SDVOBs - simply, it is the right thing to do!

WE STAND TOGETHER

  • VEDI was established to shore up existing resources in a proactive show of support to take VOBs/SDVOBs to the next level.

  • VETERANS HIRE VETERANS - VEDI helps them to gain the connections and build the capacity to hire their comrades.

  • In addition to the New York base, VEDI has strategic satellites locations in: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Texas.

The time to help our veteran owned businesses is now.
